When Susan helped her mom, Martha, move to EverTrue Laclede Groves in Webster Groves, Mo. in 2021, it was a big step from the only home her mother had ever known in Decatur, Ill. 

But it was the right step. Martha had been experiencing forgetful moments and had become lost traveling to a doctor’s office she had visited for decades. Martha visits the library often — “It’s like college, only you don’t have to study,” Susan joked. Programs like music therapy and interactive technology such as the Tovertafel and Crdl add stimulation and joy.
